Built by ASD Parents

Ama AI is an Ames, IA-based company led by Karri Haen Whitmer and Chris Whitmer, ASD parents who have seen firsthand how meaningful behavior support can be for their son, Ethan. Drawing from their backgrounds in neurobiology, accessibility, adaptive learning, and assistance technology, they set out to create a solution that strengthens both the continuity of support across settings and the connection between the care team.

With support from partners including USDA, the State of Iowa, nMotion, and the New Schools Venture Fund, Ama is steadily advancing its mission to bring real-world behavioral insights to the children and teams who need them most.
